Does my car need to be prepared before getting wrapped? A very adamant, YES! Most vehicle wraps, ours included, are made of vinyl. In preparation, you’ll want to get your car as stripped down and clean as possible, so that the vinyl can adhere without issue. You’ll want to make certain your car has no wax, dust, dirt, or other substances present that may interfere with adherence. Whether you’re installing some simple car or truck lettering, or going with a full coverage wrap, you’ll want to follow all preparation guidelines.

Can you uninstall my car wrap if I change my mind? Absolutely. If you decide that you no longer want your car wrapped, we can safely and strategically remove it without causing any damage to your vehicle. For the most part, we recommend that clients do not attempt to remove a vehicle wrap unless they have prior knowledge or understanding of wraps.

If my car is damaged, can I still have it wrapped? Technically the answer to this question is yes, but we highly discourage clients from wrapping their cars if it has imperfections and/or damage. (rust, paint scratches, dents). You may believe that a wrap is a solution for covering damage, however, imperfections can cause issues with the vinyl, and as a result, shorten the lifespan of your wrap.

How long will my wrap last? When it comes to truck wraps and decals, there is no hard and fast rule for how long they’ll last. However, a wrap can last upwards of nine or ten years if well-maintained and installed properly. Obviously, certain factors and variables can have an effect on longevity, but if you’re wrapped by a reputable company, you should enjoy a lengthy lifespan.

How long will it take to create and install my wrap? It depends. In most cases, the most time-consuming part of the wrapping process is actually creating the concept. Brainstorming can take some time, especially if you’re bouncing between a few ideas. As for the actual wrapping? It takes several hours to wrap a car, therefore we recommend you give a 3-to-4-day window. We can give a far more accurate estimation after knowing the specifics of the project.

Is car wrapping legal? Yes, moreover, we always wrap according to local laws and ordinances, making certain that all necessary identifiers and registration remain entirely visible. However, keep in mind that we are a Charlotte business, and while you shouldn’t run into trouble anywhere, there is always a chance that other locations, cities, and states, might have unique regulations.
